Graduated from School of Visual Arts, she worked transdisciplinarily in the field of visual design with the experience of packaging, branding and product design. As a current student in the department of Media Design in Keio University, she is actively seeking chances to incorporate interactive experiences into her design background and promote cultural innovation.

I’m a graduate student doing biodesign, research, and production activities. My research style follows the context of materials and provides new materials through scientific experiments.My current research is developing bioink and examining its expandability as a medium. By applying the research field of bioink, we are working hard every day with the aim of reducing GHG emissions at a lower cost than conventional materials.

Magdalena, a Civil Industrial Engineer specializing in Innovation and Design, is driven by her mission to bring tangible societal change through engineering and innovation. Previously, she served as the Head of R&D at a circular economy technology startup. She's now pursuing her graduate studies in the Global Innovation Design program (MSc/MA) at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, enriching her academic foundation. Magdalena uses her skills to collaboratively create impactful solutions for local and global challenges.

Sabrina is an interaction designer and researcher currently pursuing an MA/MSc in Global Innovation Design at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. Her passion lies in designing interactions that not only envision sustainable futures but also act as a powerful form of advocacy. She draws from a diverse background in cognitive science, digital design, and biodesign to explore the intricacies of culture amongst microorganisms, human societies, and ecosystems. She aims to create meaningful, sustainable interactions that go beyond boundaries, transforming our understanding of ourselves, each other, and our environment.

Ami Torii

Ami Torii

Born in Japan, and raised in both Japan and the States. Ami has a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts where she majored in International Business and Economics. She is now a first-year master’s student at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design. She is interested in creating a service for cosmetic users, providing a platform where users can exchange their used cosmetics.
