Project Overview
About
Virocub is an adaptable low cost device for rapid mass pathogen testing. Thanks to the integration of various innovative technologies, it is able to carry out molecular testing in a totally autonomous way and with a strong reduction of time and costs compared to the current methodologies. This is vital in the attempt to isolate infected people and stop or slow down the spread of disease. It has been designed so that it can perform different reactions, depending on which pathogen needs to be identified, through only a simple reprogramming of the commands.

I am studying to become a product designer, I have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial product design from the University of Bologna and now I am doing the master of Integrated Product Design at TU Delft University, Netherlands. I am gaining the skills to introduce, combine and use new technologies to develop innovative products that will solve problems and bring benefits to the world.
