About
The Columbia Language Justice Perspectives Project aims to create a fairer digital space for the preservation of world languages. Its desire is to create a curated interactive map that visually portrays multilingual reflections on language justice and their corresponding English translations. In essence, the project demonstrates that machine translation is a double-edged sword in the fight for language justice in the digital sphere, as current translation technologies often do not include many low-resource minority languages.
