CompCap Tech

CompCap Tech

About

CompCap Tech is a system enabling vehicles to capture CO2 emissions directly from the exhaust, storing them within the vehicle for later offloading. The slow shift towards net-zero targets in transport emphasises the need for such solutions, especially for large vehicles and ships. Retrofitting with traditional carbon capture and storage involves size and weight challenges. Hollow fibre-based CompCap Tech, with its straw-like structures, offers a compact solution with greater surface area. Tests indicate that such a solution outperforms traditional methods by 1.3 times, making it a promising avenue for transport decarbonisation.
