Managing household electricity consumption in the Philippines is problematic because the only reliable source of information is just the monthly bill. Information on consumption is often inaccessible because meters are mounted on unreachable areas and bills tend to be difficult to understand for the average consumer. SmarterMeter helps to address these challenges. Meters are installed directly onto the main wire of a household’s circuit panel. The data collected is sent to the dashboard via WiFi in real time and it is presented - along with other useful analytics - on a simple online dashboard.
