Project Overview
About
Shield is a smart system that detects child abuse, to notify parents of potential threats to their child. The system consists of three main components, smartwatch, belt and garments. The smartwatch includes the heart rate sensor, the temperature sensor, and the skin conductance sensor. The belt carries a microcontroller and a force resistance sensor, finally a piece of pressure sensitive conductive sheet is attached to the garments, in addition to the sensors, the smartwatch also contains GPS and Bluetooth modules.
