Nanotech Wastewater Treatment

Nanotech Wastewater Treatment

About

Nanotech Wastewater Treatment offers advanced solutions to traditional water purification challenges using nanoparticle technologies. Households produce considerable amounts of grey water, contributing to environmental degradation and heightened fresh water consumption. This grey water, laden with xenobiotic compounds from personal care items, raises contamination concerns. This study developed calcium carbonate nanoparticles through an economical method and applied them to grey water treatment. Optimal conditions achieved 88% Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and 87% turbidity reduction.
