About
The Mixo-suit home rehabilitation system is a lower-body exoskeleton rehabilitation system for children with cerebral palsy. It is the first product of its kind on the market, allowing access to rehabilitation training for children in remote areas without access to physical therapy services. With the help of their parents, who have the assistance of real-time on-screen feedback which links to motion sensors on the suit, the app’s instructions can be followed to help the children do the rehabilitation training more easily, accurately, and efficiently.

I believe every child has equal rights to access medical care. I continually integrate design thinking and novel technologies on medical device design to improve people’s quality of life and alleviate social suffering, especially concerning vulnerable groups such as near-death patients and children with special needs. My research interests lie at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Rehabilitation Medicine, and human-centered design.
