Hable
About
Hable is a Braille keyboard designed to help blind and visually impaired people use smartphones with ease. Drawing from the design of traditional Braille computer keyboards, Hable takes the form of a small 3D printed attachment that clips onto the back of almost any smartphone. By pressing various combinations of Hable’s six push-buttons, users can input any text they wish, with the device’s inbuilt circuitry translating the Braille key presses into a standard text format that smartphone applications can understand.

Ayushman Talwar studies industrial design with a focus on (tangible) interaction design. He focuses on such values as intimacy, privacy and subtlely to explore the dialogue between products in public life and private life. TIPO- Keyboard is one such product which allows visually impaired to have private conversations.
