Project Overview
About
gluCosy is an innovative and playful tracking system for children with diabetes. It uses CGM technology to provide a continuous transfer of glucose measurement via a non-invasive sensor and transmitter carried on the body. The wrist-worn smart watch involves the child in playful notifications and warnings before reaching critical moments, while the parent follows the whole process graphically through a mobile application.

I graduated from METU, Industrial product design department in 2021. I am currently working in the UX/UI field. For me, the most important point in my designs is to respond to the experiences and needs of the users in the best way possible. Since the health sector is always a dynamic and needed sector, doing projects in this field has always been something I have enjoyed and wanted. Since CGM technology is also just beginning to spread, I thought that as a designer in this field, I would find a lot of topics to research and reflect on.
