Each year, 416,000 tons of coffee waste threaten ecosystems and water sources, also attracting disease carriers. Addressing this, Beyond The Coffee Cup repurposes coffee waste into useful products like growing bags for crops, substrates for mushroom growing, and smoke pellets. Sourcing waste from farmers provides them with additional income; this circular model not only minimises environmental degradation but also revitalises communities, bolstering local economies and promoting sustainability.
